He is there when you
awake each day,
He listens to you when
you pray.
He protects you when
you are in fear ,
He holds you very dear.
Even though he wasn’t
here very long,
The impact he made was
very strong.
He might not have been
a doctor as he wanted to,
But from heaven he works through you.
To give someone like
him the chance that he did not receive,
But you better
believe:
That nothing can ever
replace him no matter how hard you try,
But his spirit did not die.
He helps so many
through his memory,
And even though we
cannot see him very clear,
He watches over you
his spirit is still here.
